In the second game of the 1st annual UW-Fox JUCO Classic, UW-Fox Valley defeated UW-Barron 88-37. With the win the Cyclones are now 11-1 on the young season.
UW-Fox Valley jumped out to an 18-2 lead to start the game and never looked back. Christian Krah hit 2 three point field goals and converted a steal into a lay-up to lead the fast start for the Cyclones. Beau Reshel's 13 first half points, and a stingy defense, that held the Chargers to only 6 first half field goals, helped the Cyclones to a 47-12 lead at intermission.
The Cyclone starters opened up the second half with a 13-4 run and UW-Fox never looked back. The Cyclones shot 12/25 from the three point line, had 7 players score seven or more points, and held the potent UW-Barron three point attack to 17.6% for the game. Beau Reshel led the way with 19 points, Travis Puyleart had 13, and Jake Coenen dished out 6 assists with no turnovers for the Host Cyclones.
UW-Barron will play Fox Valley Technical College on Friday at 1pm. UW-Baraboo will battle UW-Fox at 3pm.
