The UW-Fox Valley men forced 17 turnovers, held visiting UW-Washington to 21.6% shooting, and got 44 points from their bench in a 78-46 win on Wednesday night at the UW-Fox Fieldhouse. The Cyclones jumped out to a 36-18 halftime lead on the heels of two Kevin Jukkala 3 pointers, and never looked back going on an 18-5 run over the first 7 minutes of the 2nd half to run their record to 6-1. Jake Coenen, Travis Puyleart, and Mike Fitzgerald led a balanced UW-Fox attack with 15, 13, and 11 points each. Fitzgerald was perfect from the floor and free-throw line, while Joe Dachelet pulled down 7 rebounds, and Phil Landua 6, for the Cyclones. Nine players scored 5 points or more for UW-Fox Valley. The Cyclones will host UW-Marinette in a key WCC-East game next Monday at 8:00pm in the UW-Fox Fieldhouse.
