UW-Fox raced out to a 43-17 halftime lead on their way to the victory. The Cyclones had nine players score in the opening half led by Cameron Schaefer’s 13 points.
The Cyclones shot just under 50% (31/63) overall for the game and 73% (11/15) from the free-throw line. They held the visiting Roadrunners to 29% (7/24) shooting from three-point range. UW-Fox also out rebounded UW-Richland 42-35.
Schaefer led the Cyclones with 15 points. Trevor Krizenesky had 14 points and 6 assists, while Jon Schlaver had 12 points and Matt Lehner 11 to pace the UW-Fox attack. Nick Mohl had 7 rebounds for the Cyclones.
UW-Fox runs their overall record to 14-3. They will host UW-Marinette on January 22nd. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30pm.
