For the 2nd year in a row UW-Fox Valley men's basketball coach Lee Rabas has been named the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) 2011 Junior College Coach of the Year.   Rabas and his staff guided the Cyclone men's basketball team to a 26-1 record this past season, which included a Wisconsin Collegiate Conference (WCC) East Division Title and the WCC Tournament Championship.  He was also named the WCC-East conference coach of the year, for the second time, back in March.

Over the past two seasons the UW-Fox men have posted a 48-7 overall, record and a 21-3 conference record in the WCC-East.  In 2009-2010 they finished the season as the WJCAA State Runners-Up.

Rabas will be honored at the WBCA Hall of Fame banquet in Madison.  That event will be held on Saturday October 8, 2011.  Other coaches to be honored with coach of the year awards will be Rob Jeter (UW-Milwaukee), Matt Bollant (UW-Green Bay), Gary Grzesk (St. Norbert College), Shirley Egner (UW-Stevens Point), Steve Collins (Madison Memorial HS), Caron Townsend (River Ridge HS), and Corey Wolf (Nicolet HS).
