The Cyclone men defeated UW-Sheboygan 82-60 in a Wisconsin Collegiate Conference quarter-final match up on Wednesday evening in the UW-Fox Fieldhouse. With the win the men advance to play UW-Rock at 5pm on Saturday February 26th at UW-Waukesha in the first WCC Semi-final. UW-Waukesha will play UW-Marathon in the second semi-final at 7pm. The championship game will be held on Sunday at 2pm.
UW-Fox was led by Jake Coenen (Kimberly) who scored 21 points on the night. Phil Landua (Kaukauna) had 17 to go with his outstanding defensive effort, Beau Reshel (Hortonville) added 14, and Lucas Schultz (Appleton West) came off the bench to score 12 points and grab 6 rebounds. Joe Dachelet (Menasha) rounded out the Cyclone attack with 8 points and 8 rebounds.
With the win the UW-Fox men run their season record to 24-1.

UW-Fox shot 48.6% from the floor. Forced 15 turnovers. Held Wombats to only 7 offensive rebounds.
